About

What is WordCamp anyway?

WordCamp Seattle is an informal conference that brings together WordPress enthusiasts from around the Northwest for two days of education, edification, and community. Whether you’re a developer, a designer, a consultant, an agency, a blogger, or a publisher, WordCamp will take your WordPress skills and enthusiasm to the next level.

WordCamp in Seattle

We have been hosting WordCamp in Seattle since 2009 when it was held at the Adobe Campus in Fremont. Since then we have held WordCamps at the Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Pacific University , McCaw Hall and the University of Washington. The one thing that has been consistent over the years is that the event is all volunteer produced and the attendees have always learned a lot and had a lot of fun. We are guided by a Code of Conduct. If you have questions about this year’s WordCamp check out the FAQ.

Seattle’s WordPress Community

We have a large and active community year-round. We just launched a new portal site at WPSeattle.org where you can see all the Meetup events in one place as well as see past WordCamp sites and sign up for Slack! While there be sure to sign up for our year-round mailing list to stay informed about the local WordPress Community.
